Description

With a wipe clean flat front , ideal for food and pharmaceutical applications, the Samba has the same high functionality and same low price meeting IP66 ingress protection.

This PLC with embedded colour touchscreen All in One offers exceptional capabilities, with its 7″ TFT 65k colour touch screen and 2Mb of memory for the application program, images and fonts.

The PLC benefits from a range of built in function blocks including recipe control, third party device connection, PID, modem communications, SMS and email. The Unitronics Samba supports communication via TCP/IP Ethernet, GSM/GPRS, MODBUS, DF1 and CANopen.

Software development is fast and easy using the Visilogic programming software, plus there is a suite of remote access tools for monitoring and maintenance purposes.

Every Samba 7″ integrated PLC & HMI has a USB port as standard. All Samba’s can have two additional ports fitted, one serial/Ethernet and one CANbus.

Visilogic

VisiLogic is an easy to use and intuitive programming software that is included with this product.

VisiLogic is a powerful software package that allows the Vision™ series of integrated PLC & HMI to be programmed easily and quickly. The software has a familiar intuitive feel and incorporates many advanced features such as discrete program routines, function blocks, data tables, data logging, trending and alarm handling. All of the standard maths functions are available and complex formula can be developed without the need to have a degree in computer science!

The integrated intuitive function blocks really make the Vision™ series the powerful devices that they are. There are many pre-set function blocks available performing a wide variety of advanced tasks as easily as dropping & dragging an icon into your program and configuring a few parameters.

Subjects such as CAN Open networking, Modbus communications, pulse trains outputs and bespoke serial communication protocols all have function blocks available to make the programmers life less difficult.
